We start off by numbering all the seats, so they can be reinstalled in the same order. This prevents unneeded holes being drilled into the metal flooring.
We then remove all the seating, flooring, plastic covers, and side panels. One of the bus partner differences is when we replace the floor, we do it all the way up to the drivers petals.
Once the uninstall is complete we dry the metal flooring, sand, and clean. Any metal work that needs to be done, will happen in this stage.
Once the floors are repaired and sanded, we roll on two thick coats of rustoleum to prevent further floor deterioration.
All plywood is replaced with marine grade board. All cuts are made on-site and dry fitted. From the factory the boards are pieced together around the wheel wells. We use one board and cut the wheel wells to fit - increasing stability.
We install new rubber, the freshly painted duct work, and new trim through the entire bus.
All seats are cleaned, frames are painted, and reinstalled using new bolts. If any seats need to be recovered this is the perfect opportunity to do so.
We then clean the entire bus at this point top to bottom.
